"Founded in 2022 by Vertika and Smriti, Undyed began as a two-person venture in a small room. From traveling 300km to buy our first machine within budget to going door-to-door in search of artisans for our first embroidered piece, every step has been a testament to passion and perseverance. "

ABOUT UNDYED

UNDYED is a handcrafted brand that not only values traditional handcraft but the approach to promoting these handworks across India, particularly chikankari, block print, and other handcrafted techniques, is both innovative and socially conscious. Breaking the chain of monotonous handwork and infusing it with a modern touch by blending it with different Indian crafts is a creative way to revive and redefine traditional art forms at affordable price.

The emphasis on upscaling and modifying handworks to align with modern trends demonstrates a commitment to meeting the expectations of contemporary customers. This approach not only ensures the preservation of cultural heritage but also keeps it relevant and appealing in today's dynamic market.

    As a NIFT graduate born in Lucknow, fashion and craft have always been my driving passion. I constantly searched for designs that were trendy yet deeply connected to heritage—while remaining accessible—but found a gap in the market. This realization led to the foundation of Undyed, a brand that seamlessly blends tradition with modern aesthetics, making handcrafted elegance both timeless and affordable.
